Transmission cooler line connector fitting leaking

I have a 2012 Taurus SEL with 50K miles and noticed some small amount of leakage from the transmission cooler line connector fitting. I am not sure whether it leaks only when the motor is running or at any time. The transmission fluid level does not seem to have decreased. I assume that it may be a ...

Re: Which battery for 2012 Taurus SEL ?

? Interceptor or Interstate ?

Is the Motorcraft Tough Max Group 65 a maintenance free battery?
It looks like it has caps on top for adding water.

How is water getting into my trunk?

2012 Ford Taurus. I noticed the interior trunk carpeting is damp in certain areas. No puddles of water in spare tire well. The dampness seems to be more on the left side mostly at the bottom inside and below the left rear stoplight and parking light unit. There is no dampness along the side carpetin...

Brakelight Bulb confusion

:?: This is a follow-up to "Layer of water in tail light". When I went to replace the double filament brake light bulb the owners manual said the correct bulb is a 3057k. The bulb that I took out was a 3057k. All of the auto stores and online sites say the correct bulb for the 2012 Ford Taurus is a ...

Re: Layer of water inside tail light

Yes, it is on the quarter panel and not the trunk. Thanks for the directions. I also just noticed that the lower bulb doesn't light, but the upper one does light. I am hoping it is just the bulb and not the socket, but once I get the taillight and socket out I will try to figure it out. Will I need ...

Layer of water inside tail light

I noticed that one tail light has a layer of water about 1/2" high. (It previously only had moisture droplets on the inside of the lens.) I understand that there is a "vent" some where and I guess that may be blocked. Is there a way to remove the tail light and release the water and also prevent it ...

2012 Taurus- Water collects in door panels

I have a 2012 Ford Taurus SEL and I have noticed that a significant amount of water accumulates in most of the door panels after a heavy rain. There is a rubber flap at the bottom of each door on the inside and when I lift the flap with the door open the water comes streaming out. If I do not releas...

2012 Taurus SEL-Water droplets inside left rear tail light

Noticed water droplets inside left rear tail light about 1 month ago. Despite no rain in past 2 weeks the droplets are still there and never evaporated. What should I do? Is there any way to dry out the inside of the lens or prevent more moisture from getting in there? How does water get in there in...
