Heater fan imtermittent off then back on

The heater fan in our car goes off and on intermittently and sometimes three or four times in a row. Any one experience this and have any thoughts on why? Thanks! :?

05 500 FWD traction control issue

Our 05 500 with front wheel drive has been acting up in snow or slippery conditions. With the traction control on, and in a slippery condition, the engine bogs down and traction goes to nothing and something smells hot. Turn off the traction control and everything is OK. Any ideas out there?

A drain was plugged causing the water to run into the heating system shorting it out. Hopefully all fixed now :)

2005 500 Limited heating/cooling problem

I have a problem that just cropped up recently. I had this first happen two weeks ago. Started the car and the defrost went right to high and on, off, on and then nothing. After a while it went back to working fine. Tonight I ran the car through the car wash and it started to fog up so I switched to...

Can someone tell me where the park assist module is located on a 2005 Ford Five Hundred? Thought it was in the trunk. Thanks very much! :?

Re: Hesitation, stumble

After checking the Tech hotline, it ended up being bad spark plugs. They only had 40,000 miles on them, but they probably put the incorrect plugs in the car.

parking sensors not working

I have a 2005 Five Hundred Limited and the parking sensors only work for about 3 seconds and then the yellow light comes on in the instrument panel. Anyone have this problem and found the fix? :(

Front left is drivers side. Take it to a Ford dealer instead of Auto Zone. They know what they are doing. What did you put in it for plugs?

Took to the dealer and they performed the throttle body recall. Still does the same thing. Replaced the throttle body and it still does it. They found no codes at all. Any other ideas?

Re: 07 missing on cylinder #5

Do you have a gasoline smell inside the car at idle? Sounds like the plug may have come out. We had the same problem. Had to have an insert, not a helicoil, put in and never had the head taken off. Now it runs fine.
