West coast customs did a custom job for a 500 owner, he walked out with the stock six speed tranny and 367 hp. The car ran fine. If the site wasn't blocked right now I would find you an actual link, even though you don't deserve it.

.
Please point me to this 367hp 500 ? With that amount of hp the tranny will be toast in a very short time...

Based on what I heard on the PBS show Autoline Detroit, a few weeks back, the answer is "no". Six speed does the job as well or better, and costs less to build.
2005 Mercury Montego Premier AWD, Merlot with a Pebble interior. Safety Package, Reverse Sensing System, and Moonroof. X-Pel Paint/Headlight Protection. Lots of Zaino on the paint!

That which does not kill you, only makes you...stranger.
