Go Rhino Push-bar compatability with 2010 Taurus?

Post by JoeBob » Wed Jun 26, 2013 12:49 am

I'm picking up a '10 SHO in 2 weeks and had seen the Go Rhino Push Bars that are made for the '13 Interceptors. Does anyone know if these will fit a 2010 SHO? Are there any frame or grille differences between the 2010 and 2013 models?

In this Go Rhino photo it appears to be on a new Taurus with the same grill style as my new-to-me '10.

Go Rhino said they couldn't guarantee fitment on anything but a '13 Interceptor Package.

I would avoid getting one, adds about 50 useless pounds to the front end.

So does having a girl with DDs....

I'm not too concerned over weight gained.

I do believe it would be proactive for keeping people out of the fast lane and effective against 4 legged animals.

If i feel the need to go off-roading my ecoboost 4x4 f150 may be more suitable

So if making people think you are a cop is what you are after, please dont do it. I drive a Police Interceptor (privately owned) because of the heavy duty parts and reliability and it was cheap. Its the people who want to use it for purposes like this that make it difficult to drive this car. If people want to move over for me, fine. I wont run up on them and force them over.

Please dont ruin a civilian model by adding a push bumper. Keep in mind, it attaches to the frame. If you hit something with it, it could ruin your car. I saw a "copped out" Mercury Marauder not too long ago. This dude had a Setina pushbumper, dual spotlights added to it. I wanted to cry.
