New to the forum in 2013. Hope you've solved the problem by now. If you haven't and still have the problem my local mechanic found service bulletins relating to the problem which I also had. Had to go to Ford to get the computer reprogrammed which took them 20 minutes and $120. I fought with them that it should have been a warranty issue as it created a dangerous condition. I lost . It corrected the problem! My biggest problem was all the crap they tried to sell me as I was not a REGULAR customer.

Take it to the dealer and ask them to perform this. Be quick about it as the offer expires soon. After that if the car is still having problems we can look into it deeper.

Dirty throttle body? Remove it and clean it. That helped my car...

I was wondering if the throttle body is dirty. Will call on Monday. I have a feeling that that is the problem.

Had the recall done and no difference. Any other ideas?

Dirty throttle body or bad throttle position sensor perhaps? Those are the only two things I can think of...

Took to the dealer and they performed the throttle body recall. Still does the same thing. Replaced the throttle body and it still does it. They found no codes at all. Any other ideas?

After checking the Tech hotline, it ended up being bad spark plugs. They only had 40,000 miles on them, but they probably put the incorrect plugs in the car.
