Intro - Looking for Wiring Schematics
Intro - Looking for Wiring Schematics
Hi all - first post.
I just picked up a 13 interceptor. I'll be documenting my customizations; hopefully some of this stuff might help people in the future......
I started with the center console mod and ended up picking up most of the interior out of a 2010 limited. The rear seats required some massaging, but the fronts are proving more frustrating. Does anyone have the wiring schematics for a 2010 civi and 2013 muni (the pinouts for seat connector especially)?
My interceptor had a manual passenger seat and power driver - transplanting the civi interior throws off the airbag warning. Off the top, the interceptor has the pretensioner in pillar and the civi has it integrated to seat, the civi has a fuel pump/airbag module, and the passenger seat weight sensor is different. I'm working through it, but knowing what's running into, and through, that module would make the job that much easier.
Oh, and my new driver seat is a memory seat....doh! I've got a plan for that one, though.

Sweet....thanks.
Re: Intro - Looking for Wiring Schematics
Ok..... was looking to bypass the sync module in the center console and hook the aux input plug straight to my radio ACM jumpers. However, theres a 5th wire leaving the sync harness up the aux input sub loom - they ran an open ground half way up the aux sub harness and sheathed in aluminum tape. Opinions.... why???
Any reason to preserve the earth or can I just jump the 4 aux input wires as planned?

Noise cancelling for ground loop on an audio input line?? Well, I'm hooking in my jumpers and well see how it goes.
Re: Intro - Looking for Wiring Schematics
Alright.....I'll create a new post detailing my interior conversion once I finish up my new dome light and forscan mods (fyi: more work than initially planned.....I had a few beers after beating the seat wiring/safety restraint system!!) .
In the interim, anyone interested in a pair of pillar covers/integrated speakers? I got two pairs (both tan) and painted all with SEM carpet/cloth. They paint up well, cover the hole from the pillar flood lamp(s), and add tweeters to the sound system. The grates were removed, speakers taped off, and grates painted with plastic spray. This set comes with the male/female speaker plug.......I didn't get the female plug on the set I used and had to solder the speaker wires together. $47 shipped for the pair.

Well, after the holidays I've had some time to finish up the last of the interior updates so I'll start another thread on that conversion.......
in the meantime, anyone interested in oem interceptor hub caps?
